Reviewing Students' Progress & Parent/Staff Consultation

One of the main tasks of Personal Tutors and subject teachers is to ensure that all students, regardless of their course, are on track to achieve their full potential.

We monitor students’ progress three times a year.

• In November staff will write a report on all students and this will be posted home to parents on 18 November 2011.

• In February staff will write a second report, which will be posted home on
  10 February. There will be two Parental Consultation evenings on 13 and 15 March 2012. Parents, through the students, are invited to make appointments with relevant staff. We will invite parents in if there are particular problems.

• In April tutors will report on students' performance against minimum grades. These Effort and Achievement grades will be posted home to parents on
  1 May 2012.
