Computing and IT at Henley

The HENLEY College has the latest Windows software with over £1 million of investment in brand new IT equipment and the infrastructure to place the College at the leading edge of education and training in IT related courses. Students who study IT disciplines will be well placed to further their careers in this fast moving and well paid area.

All IT rooms have been furbished to a high standard with modern air conditioning. Students have access to new equipment which includes a high speed internet connection with Pentium processor computers running the latest software from Microsoft, Corel, Delphi and many others.

Although nearly all students go on to gain a university place, there is the opportunity to gain well-paid employment in the computer industry.

Rebecca Burrows' tutors described her as an independent, enthusiastic learner with an enquiring mind, as well as an infectious sense of humour.  Her substantial progression on her IT courses, and Distinction grades earned her the IT Education Award.  Rebecca has gone on to study interactive web multimedia at Staffordshire University.
