OCR Level 1 Certificate for IT Users (CLAIT)

The OCR Level 1 Certificate for IT Users is a computer course for beginners. Everyone with an interest in gaining a computing qualification is welcome. This is a modular course consisting of up to 8 different topics. You will start with the mandatory module which covers the fundamental skills required to get the best out of your computer, using Windows 7. The other possible modules are: Spreadsheets, Databases, Presentations, Digital Imaging, Web Page Creation and Use of Internet and Email.

Students will be expected to pass 4 modules of this qualification, including the mandatory module, in order to achieve the OCR Level 1 Certificate for IT Users. Passing 5 modules will qualify the student for the OCR Level 1 Diploma for IT Users.

Please note that the examination fee for the first four modules (£54.80) is included in the course fee, students wishing to continue to the Diploma will need to pay an additional fee of £13.70 per module.
