This course is a fun, informal and uncomplicated introduction to computers and the Internet. It has been designed as a flexible learning programme that provides the ultimate introduction to basic computer skills. You will start at the very beginning by learning how to use the keyboard and mouse. As you grow in confidence, you’ll be shown how to find your way around the Desktop, how to browse and search the Internet and how to send and receive e-mails. The aim of the course is to show the use and role of technology in the everyday lives of people, regardless of status, education, age, ability or understanding.
