Fees
The duration and times of each course are stated individually. The fee shown is inclusive of College registration and/or materials where applicable. Please note that, unless stated in the course details, examination fees and course module fees are not included in the price.
Concessionary Fees
You may claim concessions on Skills Funding Agency courses (conditions apply - see below) but you must enrol in person at the Deanfield Reception in order to do so, please bring documentary evidence with you when you enrol.
Skills Funding Agency (no suffix)
A 100% remission from tuition fees only will be granted to part-time students over 18 in receipt of one of the State Benefits listed below and to all part-time students aged 16 - 18. Students wishing to claim a concession must enrol in person at the Deanfield Reception, with proof of eligibility (eg award notice).
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Employment Support allowance in the Work Related Activity Group
Examination, materials and registration fees are payable in full.
Students aged 16-18 pay materials only, unless their attendance falls below 95% in which case they will have to pay exam fees.
Financial Assistance and Funds for Students

Bursary Fund
This is available to students over 16 years of age, able to prove a financial need which inhibits access to Further Education.
Refund of Fees
Subject to the disclaimer and unless there are exceptional circumstances, course fees will be refunded only if the course is cancelled or closed prematurely by the College. In the event of premature closure, a partial refund may be given based on the number of cancelled class meetings. There is no entitlement to a refund for any other reason. Any application for a refund because of exceptional circumstances will be determined by the Assistant Principal whose decision is final. In the event of a refund being made for exceptional reasons, each refund will be subject to an administration charge of £10.00.
Disclaimer
The HENLEY College has the right to cancel any course or combine it with another course or courses provided, if an insufficient number of students enrol upon a course, or if course numbers are not maintained to a level at which it is viable that the College provides a course, or in the light of College staffing. If a course is cancelled, The HENLEY College will reimburse any fees paid, in full, if the course has not commenced, or pro-rata according to the number of hours tuition actually provided by the College. The College has the right to alter the content of any course in order to satisfy curriculum requirements, or in accordance with the instructions of any independent accrediting body, or otherwise in respect of the course, and to alter the timings of courses where it is deemed necessary.
