Willow Weaving

4 weeks or One day course

No previous weaving knowledge /experience necessary just enthusiasm and a desire to be creative, beginners and improvers are equally welcome. The classes will be creative and tuition will be led by practical demonstration. Students will start with basic weaving and will work towards more complex techniques as competences develop. The aim is that one piece is completed each session. You will have the opportunity to make a simple woven platter or stick basket, seasonal willow wreaths, a choice of hanging basket or basket shopper and a garden obelisk plant support.

You will be required to make a small contribution towards the costs of materials used in each class (from £2-£8) a selection of materials will be provided and prepared by the tutor.

Students will need to bring their own secateurs.
