This course is designed to help candidates communicate effectively both in speech and writing. We will cover a variety of styles of writing from descriptive, narrative and imaginative essays to the more practical business English or letters. Special emphasis is placed upon the needs of individual students to develop particular skills in effective reading, writing and speaking. Assessment is through examination (written and oral) and through coursework.

The cost of textbooks and exam fees are not included in the course fee.
Students will need to purchase two set texts, approximate cost £15.
