Social Studies at Henley

If you would prefer a more practically based approach to the study of human behaviour, contemporary issues and citizenship in general, then this course may well suit you. It is still coursework assessed.

It covers a wide range of subjects to suit all interests, whilst providing an excellent preparation for a career in the public sector or for a higher education course.
In addition to carrying out research, you will be able to take part in residential experience and develop your initiative, leadership and teamwork skills.

The course is available as a one year option (Level 2) or at an advanced level (Extended Diploma) with the opportunity to progress on to higher education at university. Our students have gone on to study for Sociology, Psychology, Criminology and Law degrees as well as vocationally oriented degrees or into employment.
