Languages at Henley

Students from our Faculty go on to universities across England, Scotland and Ireland.
Everyone knows how useful it is to speak a foreign language - not just for holidays abroad but also to enhance your career prospects. Students have a chance to follow French, German, and Spanish as well as following self-help courses in other languages during workshops time. The languages area has a multi-media language laboratory with access to internet which all students will use as part of their course.

We have regular visiting speakers such as Miranda Seymour, the biographer of Mary Shelley. A lecturer from Reading University Modern Languages Department came to advise students on university application, in June last year.

Please contact Head of Faculty, Jurgen Wehmeier, for enquiries about any course.
