Programmes of Study

There is considerable flexibility and choice in The HENLEY College curriculum: an extensive subject choice of AS/A Levels, the International Baccalaureate and Diplomas at various levels to suit all needs.

A Level Programmes

Most students choose four (or, exceptionally, five) subjects to broaden their programme in their first year. In the second year, many students will probably study three or four A Levels (A2).

International Baccalaureate

A six subject academic diploma, three at Higher Level (approximately equal to A Level) and three at Standard Level.

Vocational Programmes

Full time First and National Diplomas and the new Advanced Diplomas are available in a range of curriculum areas.

Skills for Life

All Level 2 courses will include Literacy and Numeracy at the appropriate level.

Enrichment Programme

The College has an extensive Enrichment programme in which all students participate.

Tutorial Programme

All students will follow a tutorial programme and have a personal tutor.
