Travel and Tourism: National Diploma

A National Diploma in Travel and Tourism is a practical, work-related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands from the travel industry. As well as learning about the employment area you have chosen, you develop the skills you need to start or progress a career.

It is equivalent to three A Levels, which means that when you have finished the course you can choose whether to go into employment or on to higher education first. A period of work experience forms an important part of the learning programme and residential and day trips are regularly used to link learning with practical experience of travel and tourism.
