REMAP

REMAP is a national registered charity that provides technical aids to help disabled people of all ages to enjoy a better lifestyle. REMAP's voluntary members are mainly engineers, craftsmen and occupational therapists who design and make technical equipment that can make an enormous difference to a disabled person's life.

REMAP does not usually charge for work or materials, however REMAP does not operate where a commercial aid would solve the problem.

Cases in the Henley area are undertaken by the Berkshire REMAP panel. Visits to those in need are often arranged by an occupational therapist and can be initiated by phoning the Case Officer, Bill Reed (see contacts on right).
