A beginner’s guide to using the graph-plotting package Autograph to enhance the teaching of AS and A2 Mathematics.

Autograph is a powerful graph-plotting package that has been developed by Mathematics teachers and is widely used by schools and colleges at GCSE and A Level.

This was a day designed for those with little or no experience of using ICT in their Mathematics teaching. The course assumed no previous knowledge of Autograph.

Participants had the use of a computer throughout all sessions and had the opportunity to develop ideas to use in their teaching. Topics included calculus, vectors, trigonometry and statistics. There was opportunity for hands-on use of Autograph to develop your own ideas.

Quotes from attendees at this Beacon event:

"I was grateful to have the comprehensive notes; which for all the sessions I found easy to follow and they will be of great use back at school"

"excellent support material"

"course was very useful - pace was good, lecturers were informative"
