Higher Apprenticeship in Management and Leadership (level 5)
When Henley College approached us about the new Employer Levy, we were interested in finding out more and attended an informative breakfast meeting at the college which answered a lot of our unanswered questions. We were keen to work with one provider that could offer all qualifications that we may want to offer our staff. Henley College could do this and reassured us that we would be allocated a personal account manager to manage our levy.
After an engaging consultation with Henley, they helped us match job roles to apprenticeships and we clearly saw that the Higher Apprenticeship in Management and Leadership (level 5) pitched to our middle managers would be of most benefit to our organisation. As group recruitment and talent acquisition manager, part of my role encompasses developing employee engagement strategies to retain talent. I see this apprenticeship as being pivotal in achieving this
Before committing to spending our levy with Henley College, I signed myself and two colleagues onto the course to ‘test the water’. We have been impressed with the course from day one. The facilities are great and lunch and refreshments were provided throughout the day. Alan, the trainer is very experienced and gave us a safe space to discuss the challenges we face in the workplace and sharing with others has been invaluable. We were each allocated a designated assessor to take us through the practical part of the course who have guided and supported us every step of the way. We look forward to rolling this offer out to the rest of our organisation in the coming months. Personally, I have really enjoyed the course content, training and delivery and feel I have taken a great deal out of the course.
