Course Overview

This course equips students with a breadth and depth of knowledge, understanding and skills relating to scientific, socio-cultural and practical aspects of physical education. It will benefit anyone considering a career which is sport science, physical education or sport-related.

Exam (70%) Non exam assessment / written and practical coursework (30%)

Duration: 2 years
Entry requirements:

Standard entry requirements, plus grade 5 in GCSE Science. Grade 5 in GCSE Physical Education also desirable.

This course is excellent preparation for students planning to continue on to university to study any sport science, physical education or sport-related degree.
