Overview

Course Overview

This course engages with a range of skills such as digital (the adobe suite), editorial, branding and packaging, poster design, typography and material experimentation as well as animation. Students will learn to use these new skills to produce a range of outcomes that satisfy Graphic Design and Animation briefs and build a portfolio of work that demonstrates an understanding of design to enable progression to further studies in the Arts.

 

Assessment:

60% Personal investigation

40% Externally set assignment

Duration: 2 years
Entry requirements:

A Level standard entry, plus grade 5 in Art.

Exam board: Eduqas
Costs:

Studio Fee of £25 plus the cost of sketchbooks, photographic materials and USB memory sticks.
