Position:  Apprentice Nursery Assistant

This is a great opportunity to begin your childcare career working with children aged 0-5 years.  You will be building good communication skills with the children and staff to ensure a happy and professional environment whilst developing skills such as preparing activities for children that will assist in their development in the early learning goals.

As an apprentice nursery assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

Desired Skills:  You must be able to work on your own initiative, be ready to learn and improve your skill level.

Personal Qualities:  You must be kind and caring, open and honest, respect others, understand confidentiality, be flexible and eager to update your own personal development.

Future prospects:  Once qualified and successful in achieving ongoing permanent employment, an individual could start by supporting a room senior in a deputy role ensuring a high standard of physical, intellectual, emotional and social care and providing development for all children specific to their next steps.  You would be know as a key carer and would prepare and run activities for groups of children.

Qualifications required:  No formal qualifications are required, however some experience would be an advantage and you must have a desire to work with children. 

Hours:  Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

Position:  Apprentice Nursery Assistant

Position:  Apprentice Assistant Early Years Educator

Location:  Marlow

You will be working in teams to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in your care, whilst adhering to standard operating processes and the employers vision and values.  An Assistant Early Years Educator typically has no experience in childcare and is undertaking his/her Level 2/3 in Childcare and Education or wants to work with children.

Qualifications required:  For an apprenticeship position the employer ideally requires candidates with GCSE C grades or above in Maths and English.  This isn't essential providing the individual is willing to gain these qualifications.

Hours:  3.5 hours a day Monday to Friday - 17.5 hours per week.
