Position:  Administrative Apprentice

Location:  Wallingford

Code: HCT0009

Working as a key part of an engineering team, you will be responsible for providing general data processing/administrative support for the department.

In this role your main tasks will include using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office Suite to produce documents and maintain records, spreadsheets and databases.  You will also carry out a range of administrative tasks and projects including liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts; communicating via face to face, telephone and email with other departments and external contacts; organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer based information; Photocopying, scanning and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues; producing documents and maintaining records, spreadsheets and databases.

This role may occasionally require you to work additional hours as overtime and you must be willing to travel as required.

Desired Skills:  It would be beneficial to have some previous administration experience in a similar role and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Personal Qualities:  You will need to have good communication skills (written, spoken and listening), work well individually as well as part of a team, be able to prioritise and plan ahead.  You will need to have attention to detail, be willing to learn and be able to shift priorities easily.

Future prospects:  There may be the possibility to progress on to an Advanced Apprenticeship on successful completion of your Intermediate Apprenticeship.

Qualifications required:  It is preferred you have  at least C grades in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

Hours:  Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)

Position:  Sales Apprentice

Location:  Maidenhead

You will be working for a growing company to help boost sales and new business.  You will work closely with the sales director to keep the portfolio updated and generate and follow up leads.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Desired Skills:  It would be beneficial to have excellent verbal and written communication skills whilst demonstrating a competence and familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

It would also be desirable for you to have basic maths skills such as calculating discounts, percentages, pricing and ROI for each customer.

Future prospects:  There may be the possibility to progress on to an Advanced Apprenticeship on successful completion of your Intermediate Apprenticeship.

Qualifications required:  You will need to either have achieved GCSE grades A* to C in Maths, English and ICT or equivalent or be working on achieving these grades by the end of your Apprenticeship.

Hours:  Monday to Friday (30 hours per week)

Position:  Apprentice Marketing Co-ordinator

Location:  Henley on Thames

This is a great role for someone who is wishing to pursue a career in marketing.  Working as a member of the marketing team, you will be trained to develop your skills to assist with co-ordinating marketing activities within agreed budgets and timescales, promoting the groups products within customer literature and ensuring company image is consistent across all formats.

Working with the marketing co-ordinator and marketing manager, you will liaise with internal and external personnel as necessary to carry out the following duties:
